Trolls Disrespect Timberwolves Fans for Criticizing Andrew Wiggins in Recent Fansided.com - Dunkingwithwolves.com Articles Comments Section

Below is a two part comment I posted under this morning's Fansided.com/Dunkingwithwolves.com article "Andrew Wiggins" Hot Start Shouldn't be a Surprise" by talented writer Noha Tarranova

[PART 1]
One good game and the Andrew Wiggins propaganda machine, the pro-Wiggins cultist trolls are attempting low IQ "gotchya" replies against the sensible Wiggins critics. If these are the sort of Timberwolves fans that come with Andrew Wiggins, then for the sake of decency alone, Wiggins must be traded!!!

Recent Wiggins BIAS is being aggressively shown through the new pro-Wiggins cultist trolls now more than ever. I wonder who's paying them? The Wiggins promotion campaign is lead by rude, crude and immature trolls.

For years, Wiggins has DESERVED massive criticism from the Timberwolves fanbase. Now, after 1.5 good games by Wiggins, the pro-Wiggins cultist trolls have the audacity to expect and demand a 180 degree perspective from all those whom they disagree. Good luck with that!

Go through yesterday's comments under the player grades article vs Denver and the other two Wiggins articles from yesterday, and now today's articles after the win vs Detroit... It's a disturbing sight and a blast of harsh reality re. how our society has deteriorated. If those pro-Wiggins cultist trolls are an accurate character sample of the Timberwolves fanbase, then it's best for the Timberwolves organization to trade Andrew Wiggins ASAP for the sole purpose of maintaining fanbase decency. A culling (a thinning of the herd) of the toxic loser % of the Wolves fanbase is clearly necessary. If Andrew Wiggins attracts that sort of group, those trolls, then we MUST send him and his toxic followers to a different team ASAP. No decent person of the Timberwolves fanbase wants to be represented by the likes of THAT sort of loser.

True Timberwolves fans don't treat other Timberwolves fans with whom they disagree like second rate citizens!!!

True Timberwolves fans RIGHTFULLY criticize players on their team:
(1) that break promises re. work ethic with the team's owner as a contingency of signing a +$27 MILLION per year contract (free of performance guarantees) AND THEN turn around and break said promises and chose to GIVE UP DURING GAMES over the course of the next TWO seasons;
(2) who called those who react to unacceptable job performance from lazy effort and giving up during games "(bleep) fans;"
(3) who became a lockerroom cancer from their childish pouting and public admissions of being unhappy for being forced (for the betterment of his team) to be third option behind Butler and Towns
(4) who publicly blames others for their own shortcomings; the antithesis of a mature NBA professional
(5#) and who had SELF PROCLAIMED their value as a top 100 player in the NBA who's requirements in order to "unlock" his talents and turn his career around are a coach who treats him as a child and gives hugs and a safe space.

[PART 2]
It should, for a thinking person, take more than a couple good games (vs.really bad teams) to change one's opinion about a NBA employee who's deservedly received the degree of criticism Andrew Wiggins has for the last few seasons.

Timberwolves fans (the decent ones) should be embarrassed for the antics of the new agressively disrespectful pro-Wiggins campaigning cultist trolls within this platform. I'm sure examples of them are responding to this comment. Again, examples of their uncivilized toxic behavior are littered and splattered all over the recent articles (and some have recently gone back through and replied to months of past articles comments under those who rightfully criticize Wiggins). What sad and pathetic lives they must live!!

There are sensible folks expressing their opinions in here. BLOCK the trolls from viewing. Timberwolves fans have a responsibility to uphold decency. Make the trolls' comments fall on blind eyes. BLOCK them from view and encourage others to do the same.

If Andrew Wiggins has TRULY grown up, and IF he has TRULY re-committed himself to the Timberwolves... then I'll be the first to buy another one of his jerseys and wear it proudly (again). But, it will take a heck of a lot more than just a couple good games, and quite possibly a whole season of legitimate and consistantly executed PROOF from Wiggins that permanent change is what we are all witnessing.

I care about what's best for the Timberwolves. It's that simple. If that means keeping Wiggins is what's best for the team, then I'm all for it. If trading Wiggins is what's best for the team, I'm equally as supportive of that. Right now, because I don't have a recency bias, I believe that trading Wiggins is still what's best for the Timberwolves future. Trade Wiggins while he has gained trade value; make the deal before he regresses back to what we've all seen for years.

Adults should be capable of existing around and with those whom you disagree; in person and in discussion platforms. Timberwolves fans should act like adults.

  1. I agree that many Websites have quickly forgave Wiggins for all the floating and non-effort years because we have beaten below .500 teams to start the season and Wiggins is engaged. He is engaged because Ryan Saunders made him the focal point of the offense. He can't float, because he is getting the ball up the floor. IF, when we get the all important third wheel to this team to give us three 20 point scorers and can move guys like Teague to the bench or trade him for better contracted shooters, my guess is that Wiggins will either HAVE to continue being point Wiggins or he will regress again. KAT has been excellent, deferring to Andrew and I'm sure if we got someone like D'Lo he would adapt. If we got D'Lo, I'm not sure Wiggins would adapt. So, now you have to consider another position to supplement our two max players. Could it be Gallinari as a stretch four, but needs the ball to score? NO? Or a guy like Marcus Morris who can hit outside, but can move RoCo to his natural SF position. Or Marvin Williams of Charlotte? Good defender but not a big scorer. Or how about Andre Iguodala? Old, but he can still play pretty good defense. Otherwise, you are stuck drafting someone and hoping he or Culver get to that level.

  2. After watching yesterday's Wolves Suns game from close range, I still see Andrew get disengaged and it hurt us yesterday. Part of it was the ref crew that warned Wiggins for complaining and then promptly gave him two fouls and he had to sit. Kat followed and we were left with very few scoring options. More importantly, it is Teague that was not a positive for this injury riddled version of the Wolves. As a veteran PG, he should have been forceful and got the team moving, but instead he was passive and didn't play a lick of defense. The sooner we unload his expiring contract for a player that could be a stronger shooter from the arc and help KAT rebound, (throw in Vonleh while you are at it), we could be getting closer to a young exciting team again
